Treasure Hunt

Your life in Christ is like a treasure hunt. The Holy Spirit is your guide, and the Word is your map. Faith in what you cannot see is your momentum to seek out the treasure buried in mystery. When God's goodness hides from you, it is only your signal to seek it out. For indeed it is there though for a moment concealed from you.

Not a few people have searched all their lives for hidden gold mines and buried treasures. Many lose their lives in pursuit of it. Though their drive is undeniable, their passion misguides them. Jesus told His disciples to "sell all" for treasure in the heavens. What would you give up to find Christ's riches? The world's success pales compared to the satisfaction of knowing God our Father and His son Jesus, for this is eternal life.

You must seek if you are to find. As you hunt for the Lord, you will find yourself. Drawing closer and closer to Jesus, you become more and more like Him. You are His treasure, His special possession. He hides you to protect and set you apart, for you are precious to Him because He is precious to you.
