But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses (Acts 1:8 ESV).
Holy Spirit is our comforter and the one who will never leave or forsake us. He is the Spirit of Grace that empowers us to be the person God meant us to be. He will stand with us in every trial of our faith, and it is He who navigates our journey we call life. Holy Spirit is invisible yet discernible. He is quiet yet powerful. He is gentle yet bold. He makes us a true and faithful witness of Jesus Christ. His function is to make us holy even as God is holy.
Holy Spirit comes to us to give us the power to be witnesses. He makes us living proof that Jesus Christ is real. Our lives become evidence of the truth of the gospel. We are the handiwork of God both new and genuine. The power of Holy Spirit upon makes us true and faithful witnesses.
People want to know the real Jesus, the Jesus who can change them from the inside out. The power of the Holy Spirit changes lives. One converted soul sparks a transformation within homes, jobs, communities, and yes even the world. Everywhere we go our lives talk; by the Spirit of Grace, they will speak of Jesus.
