Start Off On the Right Foot

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid… for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deut. 31:6).

Take courage and be a leader. No one can lead without it. Forerunners take risks and are accountable for the outcome of their leadership. The probability of failure motivates the trailblazer to see success. A person that devotes himself to apostolic teachings arises to live as Christ did. Jesus changed the world in his short life and now challenges us to do the same.

Power does not create responsibility. Taking on responsibility produces power. Understanding God’s truth that we reap what we sow is freeing. The freedom comes when you own your sin and opt out of the blame game. God designed us to prosper in Jesus Christ. Yield to Him and trust the Holy Spirit to lead you. You will not stray from the right path, which positions you to influence others.

Leaders take charge. They understand that their actions have definite consequences. To follow Jesus means to live as He did. He influenced people to live a high life, not a low one. He led people to live their lives for the greater good. He gave His life so we too could give ours that the world may know Him the only true God. What kind of life are you leading? Live by the faith of the Son of God who loved you and gave Himself for you.
