Gracious Words

So all bore witness to Him and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is this not Joseph’s son?"

How did God create the world? He spoke, and the world came into being. Faith enables us to see that God commanded and the unseen realm delivered! Words are powerful! Just say the word "snake" while hiking with your buddies and see how they react. Words shape what we believe about ourselves and others.

Jesus taught with authority. People wondered at His gracious words.

He spoke what His Father told Him to say. People following Him changed by the power of His words. Some morphed into great believers, while others showed their true colors of hated and envy toward Him.

What are the gracious words you speak over yourself and those you hold most dear? Your speech frames who you believe you are. Speak what the Word says about you. Never forget your words are crystalizing your life. God is for you, not against you. His thoughts toward you are for your well-being. Why don't you give yourself some grace and see your world change?
