Faith Overcomes the World

Overhearing what was being said, Jesus said to the synagogue official, "Do not be afraid; only keep on believing [in Me and my power]( Mark 5:36 AMP) ."

The world we live in carries a different spirit than that of heaven. The anti-Christ spirit is a wicked devil that lives in the atmosphere of planet earth. The whole world lies under its power. No one who bows to this spirit can receive from heaven and enjoy the anointing of the Risen Christ. The literal meaning of Anti-Christ is against the anointed one. The devil wants you to be religious, but He does not want you to experience the power of the anointing. He wants you to identify with the world, to share in its sin so you can also share in its plagues. Fear is a plague.

We must not have one foot in Christ and one foot in the world. If we love the world, the love of the Father is not in us. We are to come out of her so we can know Christ and the power of His resurrection. Jesus said that in this world, we would have trouble, but He also said cheer up because I have overcome it. Christ overcame the grave because God filled Him with His Spirit. The same power that raised Him lives in you if Jesus is your Lord.

The spirit of this world markets fear. Turn on the news or read the headlines and panic porn slaps you in the face. The year 2020 will go down in history, revealing those who stood in faith or fell by fear. Jesus said, “Do not fear only believe.” We are in the midst of darkness on many different levels, but soon the Light of the Lord will shine upon us. The Lord wants to bless you because He loves you. He wants you to have faith in His love for you. The love of Jesus is the only remedy that displaces fear in your life. Faith that overcomes the world is possible when you know and believe the love Christ has for you. To know Him is to love Him. The question is, do you know Him?
