Do You Love Your Life?
If God gave you a sure-fire way to enjoy life and to see good days would you grab it? You can find it beginning in 1Peter 3: 10. “For the one who wants to love life and to see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit, and he must turn away from evil and do what is good. He must seek peace and pursue it because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are open to their request. But the face of the Lord is against those who do what is evil.”
Everybody wants to love the life they have, but few do. To enjoy your life, you must guard what comes out of your mouth. Griping and complaining have to go. Lies and gossip must be a thing of the past. When you have an opportunity to go with the wrong crowd or do a bad thing, don’t take it. What you do and what you put out in the atmosphere in your life affects your relationships with people and with God. Negative words against people and situations will block your prayers. What you say about a person whether they hear it or not affects that person for good or for ill.
Your mouth condition connects to your heart condition. The Lord can give you a clean heart that leads to a kind tongue. Get things right with God. Change your thinking and ask God to help you clean up your attitudes and thoughts. Establish friendships with people who follow Jesus Christ. They will keep you accountable in how you are living. Are you aware of the condition your condition is in? You can love your life and see good days if you are willing to do it God’s way!
